YAVNET is a collaborative tool that invigorates Judaism by relating Jewish content to our everyday lives. Drawing its name from Yavneh, the ancient site in Israel where rabbinic Judaism refashioned a culture on the brink of extinction, YAVNET revitalizes Judaism by taking ideas fixed in books and builds online activities and communities around them. YAVNET takes the 120-year legacy of JPS into the 21st century by bringing static Jewish content into an interactive environment.
