In Seattle, the pre-schoolers greet one another and ask, ""How did you make a small difference today?"" In Bethesda, the 7th graders wrote and led an entire Shabbat service based on the theme ""Making a Small Difference."" In Coral Springs, the 9th grade made Tzedakah pots as centerpieces to collect money at a dinner for Camp Jenny in an attempt to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged kids. What these have in common is the song that inspires them, and the creative response of educators to use music, art and energy to teach lessons that live on.
