At the center of our Torah is the duty of Tikkun Olam, the repair of the world. But before we can teach Tikkun Olam, we must learn Tikkun Atzmi, the repair and renewal of the self, the soul of the teacher. Beyond any skill, any knowledge, any text, it is the soul of the teacher that we share when we teach. Before we step into the classroom our challenge is to rekindle our passion, to reawaken our love, to recover our vision, to renew the soul.
