Jewish educators are increasingly looking to arts-based models as they discover the merits of creative process to reinforce information, increase insight, and engage multiple learning modalities. Liz Lerman Dance Exchange has been in the forefront of Jewish arts integration through its innovative work at synagogues, day schools, youth camps, conferences, kallahs, and havurot. Join Liz Lerman and members of Liz Lerman Dance Exchange to experience some of its techniques incorporating movement, artmaking, and collaborative challenges. Applications for text study, community building, worship and congregational education will be highlighted.
